I've been converted about starting BJ and using Gattis as a bench piece after looking at the postseason roster .

I'm pretty sure that if Gattis is in LF the whole series, the ball's going to find him.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I would probably go with Schafer.

Not against a lefty. Schafer is worse than BJ against lefties.

See my post from the other day that proves Schafer has actually had a worse second half than BJ.

BJ is the only option. He has to play well or we lose.

Terrible, awful AB by Swisher there. You got to know better than to swing for he fences there.

That's not true at all. He was drafted in 2011 and never demoted. He hasn't even spent two years in the system.

You draft college players because you think they'll move up fast. Second base in Atlanta is an open wound. After the way he hit AA pitching, I just can't believe they wouldn't have moved him up if they liked him at all.

Look, I'm not hating on Gattis, but does anyone have faith he'll have good at bats in his first postseason against Kershaw or Greinke?

It's actually 2 1/2 years in the system now that I look. He was drafted out of college. I just think if they liked him, he'd have been called up. Something has to have put him in the project category.

This is like proving that poop tastes better after someone eats pizza than after he eats broccoli.

They have both been hot garbage since the break. BJ has a higher ceiling than Schafer, and he has a track record of past success. Play BJ.

I'm not even a BJ fan, and I am on record as not liking the signing. But we need him to produce.

How the hell did BJ put up a .308/.386/.508 line with a 20/20 season at 23 for a full year????????

Hell BJ hit 21 home runs in the 2 1/2 months after the break last year. The fact that he has been the worst player in the majors this year is a great mystery. He is no where near as bad as he played this season. Very odd.

I just wanted a .240/.330/.450 line with a 20/20 season and good D. Not asking for a ton.

I think Upton can turn it around. Uggla on the other hand..............
