The Atlanta Braves Thread

How bad do y'all think DeBoer can be at Alabama and keep his job?

The playoff is expanding to 12 teams. I think they'd view missing the playoff once, unless it comes on the heels of winning a national title in the year or two prior, might be viewed as a fireable offense. Or making the playoff but not winning any games a couple of times. If he doesn't make a playoff run in his first or second year, there will absolutely be serious calls to fire him.

I don't think there's ever been a fanbase with such a warped sense of what is realistically possible as Alabama. If you disregard Year 1, Saban never finished outside the top 10. Remember how good 2022 felt for us? That was a good, but somewhat underwhelming season for Alabama fans the last 15 years. It's completely absurd.
The beauty of coaching college football is getting fired. Tell me a better job than fired college football coach.

What's the feeling on giving Max a 1 year deal? I'm glad he's back, but I kinda wish they would've locked him up for 2 or 3 years. He's in his prime.

Max and Morton (retire) will most likely be gone next year. AA better hope Waldrep and AJ Smith-Shawver continue to progress but we will prob need to get someone in FA next year still.

Sometimes in the evening when I’ve had just the right amount of alcohol, not too little and not too much, I think about how Jack Harlow dropped Lord Farquad into a number one hit and no one ever mentions it
I say that exact same thing to my wife every time I hear that song.

Would have a hard time not firing Ryan Day if I was the OSU AD and saw what Stroud is doing

I really dont understand how people can watch the playoff games today, and be upset we fired Vrabel. The Titans havent ever ran any of these plays under him.

Let the accusations begin…
