The Atlanta Braves Thread

I think right now, I would just move everyone up a spot when Riley gets back and do something like this

Ozzie
Riley
Olson
Ozuna
Catcher Spot
Harris
Duvall
Kelenic
Arcia
I think so too. I don’t like the idea of Harris leading off everyday right now just because he’s fast.

It’s easy to blame it on that, but I really don’t think it’s that simple. ACLs and knees in general are just freak injuries.
Very true, but it could be the reason, and that alone is enough to put a governor on Acuna.

He is just too good to play 200 games a year and attack the bases like he does. It’s not worth it.

The season ending injury to Acuna gives Kellenic an opportunity to play every day and improve.

Getting to the playoffs without Acuna will be a great acheivement for 2024.

He’s one of the best hitters on the team and we need a spark. I’d rather Riley or Ozuna hit 4th or 5th than 2nd

I’m not mad at it, just hope Mike gets a chance vs Righties up top
Agreed but not holding my breath. Think we’re in same boat.

Don’t know what’s on the trade market but wouldn’t mind going after pitching instead of trying to replace Ronald.

Yeah add a decent bench OF and bolster the pitching staff

One way to help a good but not great offense in the postseason is with an elite pitching staff. Adding another starter/bullpen arm would probably be best

I don't think RAJ knows how or would want to dial it back when it comes to running the bases. I would have a hard time asking him to do that. It's a huge part of his game.

Just get to the playoffs and anything can happen. Just look at last year. Who woulda thought the D-backs would go to the WS? Even without Strider and Acuna this is easily a wild card team. Can’t afford any more season ending injuries tho
