The Atlanta Braves Thread

They’re going to hang up, but I would at least call the nationals about CJ

They got a chance to be good in a couple years, they would immediately hang up for sure.

I would see about Bichette even if I don’t love him, but he doesn’t seem happy in Toronto and maybe a change of scenery would be good for him. My concern would be the infield defense goes from “meh” to “this is bad” since he’s never been good defensively.

Would not

Probably. Man we aotn ever gonna have a farm again ha

This is the really annoying part. We have a fair amount of pitching depth and ~zero~ with position players.

Waldrep, AJSS, Schwellenbach and Murphy shouldn’t be traded but I’m sure one or two will go.

IMO, they want to see what he can do, and also dangle him as a high level trade piece as well

Tough to deal Fried with Strider down and Morton acting his age but it's not a crazy idea. I'm always down to see if somebody will overvalue a closer that pitches to contact.
Not resigning him. Would be nice to make a forward looking move for a change.

Would also provide a high end return with which to use this year or for a longer controlled asset if you are so inclined.
