The Auburn Postgame Report

I don't understand it, but Cam always plays better off the bench than starting. I think it's time to give McRae another chance, he's playing better.

Very interested to see if McRae can bring it against UK. Also, how will tatum bounce back against a great team on the road???

3. Speaking of McRae, I think it's time to start Jordan McRae over Cam Tatum. It would just be best.

4. Please, for all that is good in the world, can we please get Maymon and Stokes more shots!? Please!?

Never thought I'd agree with starting anyone over Cam, but the time has come.

Spot on on number 4. We are doomed against KY if this doesn't happen now.

Ugly game, but a win is a win. TBA def seemed to be affected by it also. I seriously think at one time the whole arena was so quiet you could of heard somebody sneeze in the upper bowl

it was nice to see that it was actually a decent crowd atleast though, i believe announced at 19k.

I agree with everything except the bold. There were at least 6 possessions if not more that Golden drove it in way to deep, and was 1 on 3. One reason he was 2-9 shooting. If he would quit doing that, he would be doing great.

Golden does not dish off until it is too late to shoot or pass. Result, turnover. happened several times yesterday.

this unfortunately is just part of the learning curve for a pg who has never played the position before, you are going to go through the growing pains. much like stokes down low turning it over way too much, these kids are young, and in golden's case is still learning a new position. with that said its sad that he still is our best option even when he plays that way.
