The Bash Juan Montoya Thread!!!

Lets just say Pablo Wrecko wouldn't have made it back then. His crap would not be tolerated. Im still waiting on Tony Stewart to send him back to Colombia. And whenever someone finally decides to beat Pablo Wrecko up they'll be my favorite driver. I don't care if its Jeff Gordon.

The thing is that it's not about where hes from, it's not ever really about his driving style. I hate his attitude. The whole cameraman incident, and the way he treats others. I'm not expecting him to be Jeff Burton but at times hes been way out of line at times. He comes in here thinking that past series wins and championships will earn him something over here. Hes earned nothing here and deserves nothing. If he could show a little respect and class then I wouldn't hate his as much. I just hate his attitude. At least Stewart and Gordon have earned the right to trash the sport and people because of success but Pablo Wrecko is a rookie and deserves nothing

I came into the year wanting to like Montoya, honestly. I don't keep up with F1, so I had heard of him, but knew nothing about his reputation, driving habits, anything. And just to see him roar into the scene with no respect for the sport or the tradition, or his fwlloq drivers, turned me off real quick. As a rookie, even if you are not new to racing just new to Nascar, you have to play it safe for awhile. There are no longer just 20 cars on the track to contend with, there are 42. If you race people the wrong way, it will come back to haunt you and that is what Pablo is going to have to deal with. He is obviously not out there to make friends and it shows.

Excactly, I wanted to like him as well. For those people calling me racist, I'm one of Marcos Ambrose biggest fans. He has what you would call a profesional attitude.

He doesn't seem to realize anything. In your rookie year it's all about gaining respect as a rookie. Instead he's going to have 40 cars gunning at him next year. I'd hate to be him when Martinsville and Bristol rolls around.

Now Katie Kenseth, she looked ugly in ever picture ive saw of her until I watched a rerun of Beyond the Glory a couple of weeks ago when I got off work at 4:00 AM. She looked pretty good in it

he's always been aggressive and he's always been arrogant, and he has every reason to be that way. for him to come in and bow down to the NASCAR brotherhood is totally ridiculous.

not liking him for his off the track attitude is fine, but he shouldn't have to change the way he drives a race car to suit others, nor should you expect him to.

But if he continues to drive like this he won't have hardly any fans. I understand being aggressive, but he's lost a lot of respect this year by the way he drives.

I wish this was the early 90s again back when Nascar and it's fans were real!!!
I wish it was the early 90s also. I'd be in college and you wouldn't be born yet.:p

who cares how many fans you have? if winning races was based on how many people were cheering for you in the stands, nobody besides Junior would even bother showing up.

Having fans is a wonderful thing, and I know the drivers appreciate them very much. But fans do not win you races and they do not win you championships.
