"You know, I think he's a great guy, he's a great racer and it's a shame the position he's in," Montoya said. "I've been racing all my life and I learned to get over things like this because we're going to meet again and again on the racetrack and it's a lot nicer and better when you have a good relationship."
Montoya took the high road when asked to respond to Harvick's whining.
btw, which driver do you think Nascar officials will be watching like a hawk? Harvick needs to just shut up and drive.
and"In four weeks, it's cost us a couple of hundred points and he shrugs it off like he doesn't really care about anybody or anything, that he's just here to race. You make him mad and it's 'Well, I've got a five-year contract and I'll just wreck you every week.' It's hard to talk to him and he doesn't really respect anyone around him."
So does it bother you when people say you're not real popular?
"No, I think I'm a lot more popular here than I was in Formula 1, so I'm OK," Montoya said, which elicited laugher from those in attendance.
Have you seen my blog? I am very aware of Kevin Harvick's past, but that has no impact on the fact that Pablo has no regard for anyone around him which IMO leads to 90% of his accidents. People race him the way he races them to an extent. He's wreckless.yes, because there is nothing disgraceful about jumping over a car to get to Greg Biffle, trying to attack Joe Nemecheck for something he didn't do, going after Ricky Rudd in pit lane after the race, or opening your mouth before you watch a replay (as was the case last week).

Mark Martin could also teach Kevin Harvick a thing or two about being a good sport and a classy guy. Especially after the last Daytona 500.
I'll buy it Tiddy.I'll be the first to admit JPM has been overaggressive at certain times this season. Just not to the extent that some people like to think.
And I'm sorry, JPM was there inside of Pruett, and Pruett came down the track to try and block him and paid for it. It would've been OK had Pruett (accomplished whiner in his own right) not whined about it afterwards despite blatantly trying to block JPM. I'm not even the only person on this forum that saw it for what it was; a guy trying to make a passing, getting blocked, and holding his line.
