Guy is not an idiot. Not lazy. Not a leftist. I think it is a case of defending one's decision. I understand the sentiment. We see with the sometimes blind allegiance to Trump. I wonder how really extensive this is? It seems obvious Biden is completely over his head and is surrounded by what may be one of worst cabinets in history.

Ask him how his 401k is doing. During Trumps tenure mine boomed more and faster than it did in the 8 yrs of Obama. In the past 2 months mine has dropped $100k. My kids college fund is dropping so fast I might not have enough for him to finish school.
I’m using the same amount of gas as I did under Obama and trump but my fuel bill have tripled and I’m getting nothing in return.
All we get is he’s “working on it”. Yeah we’ve all heard “work like heck” before and how’d that turn out. How about f*****ing do something
Sorry but your friends an idiot. Hate Trump with your heart all you want but love him with your wallet.

The issue we are having here often is when people feelings get in the way of how something is said vs outcome or performance. Think about how people complain when they hear how a coach calls out his players. Some can't get over it. They gripe and complain the way something is said. We see this as Vols fans. Think of how people get mad at Barnes for calling players out. Like it personally hurt their feelings.

My coach jerked me in the helmet and kicked me in the butt. I knew he was a hard as$. I was sold on getting better. I was sold on winning. I was able to mentally move on. Some people can't. It's not in their DNA. They'd rather have a nice guy with a losing record that makes them feel good.

He knows all that. He is not an idiot.

I was commenting on possibly why approximately 35% still approve of Biden. We have all seen people get locked into some decision they made and cannot admit it was a mistake to save their life.

My first wife would periodically wash whites and reds together. Absolutely true. And when i pointed out that pink is what one gets when doing that, get mad as hell and do unbelievable mental gymnastics to argue why it was a good idea to try it again. That has to be part of the explanation for his approval, because he has been a disaster.

I can tell a similar story. I have wealthy family members who still support Biden. I think we’ll find out soon if those MAGA people are trumpers or true small government populists.

As I’ve said before, if the republicans want to ensure another record negative vote, they’ll nominate trump again. If they want to win the presidency in 24 they’ll literally do anything else.

With this economy , anyone that is breathing will beat any politician the left puts up . The Dems spent all its political capital just getting rid of Trump and now they are saddled with an economy that’s on life support . No hot button issue will overcome a failing economy .

You’re going to have to count on a plague as well. The mail in bs/ballot harvesting/corruption won’t be as easy this go round.

What concerns me Reb is will the American people endure the necessary pain. It will take longer than 2 years of an ever flipping Congress and really more than 8 years of a two term President even with a complicit Congress.
The first 2 years must be greater than the slashing and burning by Shermans march. To hell with political consequences.

He's right. I will not vote for Trump again. He is an embarassment to what our country stands for. He is strictly about himself, he could not give a crap less about you nut huggers. He will fleece you for whatever he can get you for. Yes, his policies were ok, but he is a gigantic piece of crap. If you are still on the Trump train, I pity your asses.

Dude, no anger I promise. If you are still under the throes of the "Don" I'm sorry. I voted for him twice, but his conduct since the election is beyond the pale. Now he is fleecing folks on the speaking circuit. If he truly cared about the people, why would he profit on them?
