If this rumor is true, and it is a QB, then its Newton. NO inside info, just a good guess. But the first two IF's are huge If's. Yet the interesting thing is that if it is is Newton, he is a spread guy, yet Kiffin has shut down spread guys already. I don't know what Newton would have done for Kiffin to recruit him.

I read earlier in the thread that it's not Bray which is surprising. I think getting him is more believable than Sims, Brunetti or Godfrey. I really don't think it's Brunetti or Godfrey. Of the list I just posted, the shortest guy is 6'3 except for Sims who is 6'2. Brunetti is 6'0 and Godfrey 5'11. If the staff goes with an unconventional quarterback to play in a pro style system, I am guessing they are going to be taller than 6 foot. Could be wrong so who knows. Maybe this Big Fish isn't a quarterback. Maybe it's Prater because he is tall and rated high or Milton because he is really tall.

i dont post as often as i should but after thinking about this for a couple days, i think it is more likely we get Zack Metzenberger to transfer from Georgia. He is a pro style QB with a cannon, playing behind Joe Cox (sucks) and Aaron Murray. There is no way Zack Metzenberger wants to be the next Joe Cox and wait 4-5 years to play 1. Also, Georgia was recruiting Nick Montana hard. So what does that say about Richt. He will sign anyone.

If it's a transfer from another school, we will know who it is before the season starts, since the transfer will have to take place before then in order for him to be eligible for the entire 2010 season.

The fact that some people are getting Sims from Bama is disgusting. He;s already a Bammer, and to loathe after him is disgusting.

I will be disappointed if the guy from that clip calls in today to say the mystery QB is Sims. If that's the case, that confirms this whole thing to be BS. Sims is 100% Bammer.

Just let it all play out before you make definitive statements. We have GREAT recruiters.
