I think that you make a valid point. However, the audio mentions not knowing until Monday and I don’t think most consider Nick Lamaison a "big fish".

I think this is the more likely scenario. But if we're getting a transfer from another school, we should theoretically know who it is within the next month or so.

I agree that people should be allowed to speculate though without their comments being referred to as pointless. And when most posts you make in a thread are negative and you tell people their excitement and speculation is pointless, it kind of becomes part of context. Hence the reason this conversation is now about that instead of the an exciting possibility we caught a big fish!!!

im really excited to hear this news...who it could be is up in the air but i wouldn't shed any tears if its any of the names i've heard on here so far..my only problem is my speakers don't work :( so ill need somebody to post a name so i can figure it out if yall dont care

In the hilarious audio provided, they mention whoever this is, "is a transfer that would be eligible in 2010" or something along those lines.

Lamaison is eligible this year.

I know this is Rivals, and not Hubbs, but this is Lamaison's page on rivals:
Nick Lamaison - Football Recruiting

It doesn't even have him commited, or offered, by UT. That is now, count it, more than 3 days since it went official. Either they don't know or they don't care.

Either way... they're either disconnected or this isn't a very "big fish" ... since it's 3 days since it was announced and he isn't even shown as going to UT.
