He said it wasn't Heaps or Munchie. He said he would know anywhere from last night to within a few days. Also, there is a possibility nothing will come out of that. He said he trusts his source because his source owed him one and isn't a Tennessee fan so he has no reason to get his hopes up. So......

Yeah. Hopefully there is a grand finale and in the end the rumor/inside info isn't a giant dud. I forgot... JMVA also apparently called Sims at like mid night(lol) last night and Sims said it's not him. It still could be Sims though because Matt never denied it was Sims. Wouldn't be surprised if it was Brunetti or Bray. Even though the description of not being interested in Tennessee anymore didn't fit Bray.

Question... what are you talking about? Phillip Sims is ranked as the #1 quarterback. Why on earth would he play wide receiver? Blake Sims was a quarterback coming out and he is going to play wide receiver. Phillip Sims will definitely be a quarterback. Phillip Sims is also a big fish..... if the #1 quarterback isn't a big fish than no quarterback is. The only other ones in comparison in my opinion are Heaps and Bell. He already said it isn't Heaps.

sims as in the Bama QB? i doubt it is him. i remember a few days ago when all the talk about the Askew quote was going on, matt said he called sims and that he is 100% solid to bama.

I remember that but Matt's Twitter says;

"Word on the street is that Tennessee is going after a QB I thought wasn't interested anymore in Tennessee. More to come when I find the info"

He thought Sims wasn't interested anymore so it could end up being Sims. It could be a few people though. I wouldn't put all my eggs in Sims basket but I wouldn't write him off either.
