i dont feel that way, we could use him even if he does stay true to bama, i said it a million times i would have rather had brody croyle or jay cutler than any QB we have had sence the first clausen. i hop JC changes my mind on that this year.

If it's Phillip Sims, he's not talking. I just got off the phone with him and I asked him specifically if he had received any interest from Tennessee since he committed to Alabama and he said no. Asked him if he's receiving any interest from anybody, and he said other than "A letter here and there" he hasn't really received any interest. To me, he sounded as though he was telling the truth, but I guess you never know.

BTW it was his birthday today (yesterday really), and he said he had a good birthday.

I got the # from my boss, who has a spreasheet with every recruits contact info. The only reason i'm on facebook is because my boss wanted me to befriend propsects and "cultivate" relationships with recruits.

You'd rather have Croyle over Ainge? You are no Vol fan! I don't care if Croyle was slightly better or flat out better. Ainge like Clausen is my boiiii. I wouldn't trade Ainge for Croyle ever having went through 4 years with him. Croyle my azzzzz yo.

Seriously though... was he with her during his college years? If not then no eye candy on the sideline. If so, again.... how does that help you, me or anyone else for that matter. im a realist man, i like erik ainge and he showed flashes of greatness, but if i had ben Phil, i would hav ben all over croyele, i love all the vols, and i am a vols fan threw and threw, just because i can admit other teams have had better players at certin times dosent mean im any less of a vols fan. you need to grow up a little bit.

I said you should accept our Vols and side with them when the comparison isn't that far off. Croyle wasn't that much better than Ainge. Let's say you're a Bucks or Celtics fan. Would you say you would rather have Reggie Miller just because he was slightly better? Have some pride dude. I don't think I'd want you as a friend. I'm a Miller fan too. Anyways, I don't know how highly rated Croyle was. And to get Croyle... wouldn't the team basically have missed out on Clausen? I can't even think of who the quarterback was before Ainge at the moment to be honest. Did it go directly from Clausen to Ainge? That's what I remember but time line wise it doesn't seem right. Was there a quarterback one year in between? Anyways... I was only saying that Croyle wasn't that much better than Ainge in my opinion so I wouldn't trade one of our guys for someone who did nothing during their career anyways. Croyle didn't do anything for Bama that I recall. Ainge took Tennessee to an SEC championship. It only took him one play to throw it away but whatever. We still cheered for Arian Foster.

casey, then banks for a brief while, then ainge and schaffer i belive, and i think croyle would have ben like a year or 2 after casey. we had CJ Leak in that mix somewhere to. as you i still think we are forgeting someone. well only thing i liked about croyle is he was more consistant year in and year out. ofcrouse ainge had a good freshman year under sanders, then crappy sophmore year. then went on to do fairly well under cutcliffe.
