The article contains the falsehood that Sims is getting Stone and Prater to come to Alabama. The more Sims talks to those two + Askew the more likely he is to come to TN.

Bama's listed WR recruits in that article versus Ambles, Cobb, Milton and Prater? Not close...

Too many variables to say especially with the recruit not commenting publicly on it.

I don't think this thread is meant in reference to anyone being a silent to UT though. I will say that much.

Which is exactly why you need to keep your freaking mouth shut and NOT make it harder for the kid.
You just want to be a big shot on an internet board.
The other REAL reporter did not use his name because he has a clue.

I do like the pay sites i do not pay for having all their best info posted here for free, and that is why i think this is the greatest vol site on the internet.

To the concerned individual, my post will not in any way lower the chance that sims comes in on his trip. I do not speak for the athletic department or a media publication. If norfolk news took my story and ran it, it could cause trouble (which is why prehm cannot say anything for now).

On the last person commenting on the timing of the sims decision my take is this:

1. Sims is still as of today committed to alabama.
2. Sims will still take a trip to ut and that is the news that prehm is holding off on. It may not even be officially announced.
3. It will be probably as askey said, "2 months" before we know what is happening. The big fish switch could occur at different times. If tn beats florida i would expect it to happen the following monday to maximize the news. If tn does not beat florida i would hope for it to come after the alabama game...sims showing up to the alabama game in orange would be the greatest thing that has happened at ut since peyton manning announced he was coming back for his senior year. How can i say that because we won an nc the next year? Yes we did, but sims switching would result in national media attention and would establish tn as the place to go for the hot young recruits. Our 2011 class automatically becomes top 5 in everyones mind and a hard working recruiting staff suddenly finds that our success is a self fulfilling prophecy.

You said 25 years in college athletics. Because you did not mention the college I am assuming something the size of David Lipscomb.

If you think my post is going to change anything that happens with Sims, you are paranoid and delusional. I am surprised you do not fear that your avatar will cause the Secret Service to investigate you.

Keep guessing there....skippy. I did play there, but that is not included in my 25 years of dealing with every major university athletic department in the southeast. But, OK, I am delusional.
Like I said, you are just causing grief for the young man just to be a big shot on a board.

To be honest... not everyone was going to buy what he was selling. I didn't know if it was legit, an assumption, or made up altogether. Seeing you get this upset is what made me and probably a lot of others think this is legit. Just saying.

If it is not Simms I bet it is Tyler Bray remimber he is 6-foot-6 so there is some long legs on that guy. I am surprised no one has put that together:).:)
