The Big Tech March to Silence Free Speech

They are going under because they failed to moderate their forum for illegal content, and so their hosting service gave them the boot. It's a question of content, not competition. Amazon had every right to do that.
Is their a script that the democrats send out to their talking heads so everyone says the same thing?
I'll add this, isn't it the government's job to enforce laws?

Illegal content? That's a new accusation to me. What illegal content was presented?

What was their illegal content?

Think about this: In the the greatest ironies, Parler's demise resulted from Amazon's new requirement that Parler moderate its users and, therefore, be responsible for the content on the site (e.g. don't let people organize a violent insurrection online).

This is exactly what President Trump has been ranting about for months - that Section 230 be rescinded, and companies like Facebook and Twitter be held accountable for the content posted by its users!

In sum, Jeff Bezos just f*cked Parler (and thus Trump) and may force them to go out of business because it's not abiding by the very regulations President Trump wants Facebook and Twitter to abide by!

Ooooooooohhhhhhhhh the irony!!!

Well played, Mr. Bezos, well played, indeed!

Guess there's a reason he's a real billionaire unlike Dumb Donald.

Yet they don't hold Twitter to the same rules. If you're applauding the move to hold Parler accountable why are you not also asking aws to shut down Twitter?

I was never on Parler, so I wouldn't know. From what I understand, it was a right-wing echo chamber for the types who listen to Mark Levin... and believe what he says.
Bombastic nature aside, I would put Levin’s legal acumen far above any of VN’s resident ambulance chasers.

My point is that you're claiming it was because of illegal content (that you can't name) but Twitter contains stuff just as bad. Seems you're celebrating selective enforcement based on political lines

You are missing the irony. Parler was exiled for following section 230 by those that are not.

Really? Pretty simple: If you organize and threaten a violent insurrection on Twitter or Facebook, not only will your post be removed, but you will also be banned from those sites. On Parler, on the other hand, you can say anything you want, and there are no consequences.

But there were numerous posts on twitter organizing riots and threatening businesses and people this summer.

Thanks man. And remember, it's a free country - you're free to start your own social network or hosting firm anytime.

Absolutely NOTHING stopping you bro.
Your response is so remarkable. No actually you're not these days when when the big techs decide you can't.
