"Parler, the alternative social media platform favored by the far-right, sued Amazon on Monday in response to being deplatformed, alleging an antitrust violation, breach of contract and interference with the company's business relationships with users.

The complaint asks a federal court for a temporary restraining order (TRO) against Amazon (AMZN) and calls Amazon Web Services' decision a "death blow" to Parler.

"Without AWS, Parler is finished as it has no way to get online," the complaint said. "And a delay of granting this TRO by even one day could also sound Parler's death knell as President Trump and others move on to other platforms."

Twitter is used to plan these kind of events worldwide yet they're still active. They were used to plan the riots and destruction during 2020 and are still around. They were used to share the videos of these illegal acts yet are still around.

I’m not claiming the election was stolen. Maybe it was maybe it wasn’t. I knew the mail in crap was going to be a s**tshow and I do have a problem with rules being made up on the fly without due process. Its also somewhat puzzling that an election with so much potential for fraud wasn’t more heavily scrutinized. Hopefully going forward this will be addressed and the mail bs will go away except in the most extreme cases but I’m not holding my breath.

The GF thing was unfortunate and the cops will have their day in court. However, that example can’t be used in every other lawless act by a black person where they meet their demise by their own actions.

Parler should be able to operate how they see fit and the mass collusion to shut them down should be scary to everyone.
