While Channel surfing I ran across the movie "The Blind Side" I told my wife that the High School Coach reminded me of Dooley. She then quipped "I was thinking the exact same thing" Thought it was funny.

It was interesting for me that the show clearly portrays Fulmer as the top dog as far as coaches were concerned. Oh to think how far we have fallen.

I also chuckled when I thought that Houston Nutt has been fired twice since that time.

GBO !

I liked when Sandra Bulllock was on Nick Sabans crotch right in front of her husband. It reminds me of volnation being in love with Gruden lol

That's funny. I'm watching the movie with my wife and I was thinking the same thing. I was gonna right the same thread but I was to lazy to get of the couch. Just worked a 17 hour shift. See the movie several times and the thought never really crossed my mind.

I'm pretty sure Kathy Bates's character committed an NCAA violation when she told Michael there were bodies under Neyland Stadium!!

......And what is racist about a white couple helping a black kid?

That movie sucked, and was borderline racist.

:hmm: Really??

If you're gonna throw a claim of racism out there you might want to explain yourself. Otherwise, you're no better than that nutcase Chris Matthews.

How is that movie racist? It recounts the true events of Michael Oher, currently playing for the Ravens.

A very wealthy white couple in Memphis (a historically racially divided city - I know I lived there for 30 years) DOESN'T drive by in their BMW on the way to Germantown (predominantly white) and decide to help a kid in distress is racist? You'll need to back that up to be seriously considered....or....are you one of those that throws that card out there for emotional responses? What have you done for a stranger lately? What about someone of an opposite race?.....Thats what I thought.

Wonder where he would be today if they hadn't helped Oher? Not saying he wouldn't have made something of himself, but its pretty tough for a kid from S. Memphis to "make it" without an education.

BTW, the school he attended is my alma-mater - Briarcrest. The tuition alone is $10k+ which only continues to speak volumes about the family's generosity.

Wasn't he all-county before they met?
