I started a thread in Around the NCAA about it. At least as far as I knew, it was uncertain what exact powers/responsibilities Luck would have as GM. Evidently, he's able to fire the head coach in this role, which seems like a big deal.

Sounds Taylor got the Pruitt treatment. They were awful for the 2 seasons he was there, and recently this stuff came out about him bullying him for people. I bet they fired him for cause. Timing is wild.

My old buddy from college is coming to town for work. We catch a Cactus League game whenever he's around. We're going tomorrow and I look at the tickets he got and see they're playing the Braves! What? When and why did the Braves change to CL. I imagine it happened this year. I can't believe I would've missed that completely.

They didn’t switch to the Cactus League. They open in San Diego so they left FL over the weekend and playing two with the Cubs in AZ before heading to CA.

I failed big time not going and seeing Christian Moore. Angels stadium is so close and it's always a cheap ticket and easy access. I guess he'll be back next year.

Yeah, he had somebody from work with him so he was fine. I told him I was gonna be a little late, so he didn't think it was weird I didn't text him til the 5th inning, or whatever. Just lit $100 on fire. We're getting a beer tomorrow. Wrangled another college buddy, too. All good
