Schwellenbach is easily top 10 if he’s not fast tracked and I don’t care what the rankings say, Baldwin should be top 25. He was on no one’s radar at the start of last season and that’s the reason they’re discounting him.

The Braves fast track guys more frequently than other teams and they obviously weren’t involved in IFA for years. There are several guys that could be top 100 next year if they show a bit of promise. And there’s reason to believe they will

I saw someone post this on another forum. The Burnes trade last year is a good baseline for what Cease or King might cost.

Baltimore gave up Joey Ortiz (#42 overall prospect FV 50), DL Hall (former top SP prospect turned reliever), and a 2024 Competitive Balance Round A pick (No. 34 overall).

Now, that package was considered a bit of an overpay by the Orioles at the time and Cease is certainly not considered quite as good of a pitcher as Burnes was a year ago. And obviously the Pads have different needs than the Brewers did a year ago, but a similar package from us might look like this:

Nacho (Top 100 overall prospect), Waldrep (former top SP prospect whose stock has fallen), and a our 2024 2nd round pick Carter Holton. And this trade would likely be considered a fairly sizeable overpay.

Hope so. Too many “if’s” for me though. And as per always our positions players are cheeks aside from like 1 player ha.

I can’t imagine our farm system ranks anywhere near the top.

It’s definitely not a top system but I’d say it’s between 15-20 and now that they’re ramping up up IFA spending again, I bet they’re scaring the top 10 in 2 or 3 years.

If Baumann adds velo, it’s probably him or Didier Fuentes.

If a hitter does, really hope it’s Guanipa or Perdomo
