This, this is just great stuff. From the facebook page:

"college basketball is afraid that tennessee can be a legitimate powerhouse real real soon with pearl still coaching. i really don't think anyone high up in college basketball wants to take the glory away from their precious duke, nc, kansas, ky, etc. and this is the way they can prevent that."

I was really tempted to start a "Fire Bruce Pearl" facebook group, starting a #firepearl tag on twitter, continously tell people to bother Jimmy Cheek and President Dipeitro, and try to get a rally going for 100 people to show up.

Somebody should really light themselves on fire at this one. Or at least strap 10 lbs of red hots around their chest like dynamite.

Another lovely one from the Keep Bruce Pearl group:

"For Bruce to say he wants to retire here at Tennessee, knowing the risk of sanctions being placed, that tells me he is a true Volunteer. He has done so much for our not only our basketball program, but also our university and community. He breathed a new life into Tennessee basketball, and turned us into one of the elite basketball programs in the nation. Give him a chance to stay! Go Vols and keep Bruce!"

And where else would he coach? And who is at fault for the potential sanctions?
