The Bruce Pearl Rally (merged)

No battles needed to choose from. Unlike most people going back and forth I can handle being corrected. I won't flip out on you.

I'm not sure that anyone has told you this, but your tattoo is spelled wrong. It's spelled "breigh"

This is my favorite from the Keep Bruce Pearl page (and no, someone wrote this, I'm not making this up):

"It is great to see Pearl bring some class and integrity back to the Men's program. He's an incredible motivator, disciplinarian, and a class act. PEARL is UT BASKETBALL at its best."

Translation: I give up.

I never thought I'd see Volunteers turning against Volunteers, this is utterly sickening, to say the least.

This has nothing to do with fans turning against other fans. It has to do with a thought process that a coach who has been inconsistent in coaching, a known snitch, and a liar is somehow this great icon on Volunteer B-ball. This is obviously a dirty business, but the great coaches stay in the gray area, but Pearl has tracked all kinds of black into that very area. You can't do that, period. Pearl is not UT B-ball, but he has helped build us up somewhat. If not for Hammy though, the facilities aren't near as nice as they are right now, and Pearl doesn't stand a chance to compete like he has.

This is like having one of your friends date a stripper and trying to convince him that it's not going to end well.

Mental note . . . Remember the audience when choosing my next analogy.
