The cancel culture is getting out of control

Libertarians: "I don't care what you do as long as you aren't hurting anyone"

Kid Rock: Shoots at beer cans.

Libertarians: No! You can't do that!!! That's homophobic!!!

Not sure what's worse,

the fact that you are white knighting for Kid Rock after he's canceling Bud Light. Pretty sure you're supposed to be beating the drum against cancel culture.

Or that you are both misunderstanding libertarianism and misrepresenting the Kid Rock thing in one short post.

Libertarianism is about keeping government out of everyone's business. Nothing about libertarianism suggests I shouldn't mock KR for getting in his feelings about this.

And all of this is why you are on ignore. I couldn't resist peeking after PJ'S comment...same old BS

I was at Double Dogs yesterday sitting at the bar for a couple 3 hours. I wasn’t paying close attention but since I was sitting directly across from the taps I did notice only 2-3 Bud Lights served on tap. No idea on bottles served.

You'll tell yourself you're virtuous and above the fray. But really you're just thin-skinned. Talk about getting in your feels. Lol.

I haven't drunk beer in years, but even when I did drink beer, I avoided Bud Light. I preferred Coors Light if I wasn't drinking fancy beer.

Imagine being so sensitive that you cannot consume a beer because it promotes LBGTQ. Can't wait until these sensitive men figure out that all beer brands do so.

Who in here has?

He is one of the ones clutching pearls, bro. It's sad that you can't see it.

FYP. Pearl clutchers on both sides. If you have a strong opinion either way about Kid Rock, I'll put you in the pearl clutcher camp. Dude is an irrelevant dumb redneck. Why do you or anyone else give two sh*ts what he does on his social media?

I just find it hilarious.

I was genuinely asking where your libertarian commentary came from. I haven't seen anyone in here saying "omg! Kid Rock can't be homophobic like that!"

Huff came off as triggered by this in my view. When he calls KR a homophobe and then posts a schlocky irrelevant garbled response to my light hearted jab, it means he is butthurt.... about a dumb redneck.... shooting at beer cans. He even broke out his new reddit word of the day "White Knight" to try to paint me as some Kid Rock fan boy. I hate Kid Rock! I've hated him since I was a teenager trying to escape his ear cancer inducing trash songs!

Pop Culture and its values have been problematic my entire life. It is funny that people are just now noticing it with the Transgender/Homosexual content but they ignored content that encouraged drug abuse, sex outside of marriage, divorce, adultery, mockery of religion, bullying of people that are different, cursing, violence, greed/materialism, rebellion against parents, etc.

Pop Culture has always been woke. This has been the case since 1950s or even earlier. Hollywood has always made its name by challenging traditional culture and ideas, notably anything tied to religious morality or family structure.
