What does that even mean “closer”? It’s not a gradual process where you start out olive toned then slowly get blacker. Are you suggesting that Hispanics, Asians, Japanese, Arabs, etc. are distant cousins of Africans because they are darker skinned than Caucasions? He was no more “black” than any other Middle Eastern of Arab descent than someone born in France.
