What if a hotel owner refused the NAACP because he thought their politics were extreme? What would the media say
I believe that I said yes, they would have to allow them to have their convention even though it is very distasteful to them. Our country if full of laws that accommodates some while walking on the rights of others, so the idea of all instances is but a wishful thought. It boils down to what is the greater good for our society as we wish for it to be. Naturally those greater goods will generally be very debatable dependent upon whom you are talking to.No, it's how you test the strength of your theory. If your theory is correct, it should be able to accommodate all instances falling under the rule. If it can't, that means the rule you proposed needs to be revised.

What the media would say is beside the point. What we're looking at is what is legal for the hotel to do. It doesn't have to accept business from the NAACP if it disagrees with their politics. What if a hotel owner refused the NAACP because he thought their politics were extreme? What would the media say
So businesses start putting signs in their windows and disclaimers on their advertisements " only Democrats/Republicans allowed" see I can go extreme alsoWhat the media would say is beside the point. So, are you saying that if I walk into a restaurant with republican symbol on my lapel and the owner who is a democrat can refuse me service? The problem with your theory is that it means that a person who owns a business doesn't actually have control of his own property, and consequently, his speech. If businesses are people, and people have free association and free speech, then you're not violating anyone's rights by refusing your services.
The opposite of this is essentially being conscripted by the government and losing these rights. It also may be the case that your rights change depending upon the political party that's in power if your proposed system is installed.
It would total outrage by the left and 3 days of coverage/interviews on CNN. The hotel owner would be raked over the coals by day and the blm would loot and riot by night. Think of all the free towels and bed sheets that the looters would get. What if a hotel owner refused the NAACP because he thought their politics were extreme? What would the media say
Why would any business, with any competent leader, deny service to anyone with money? The entire object of a business is to make a profit, telling potential customers to leave is like saying I don't need an extra $20 today, F em.Try to open a business and refuse service to blacks or gays and see what happens to it.
I believe that we may be somewhat on the same page. I am merely advocating that political beliefs should be included in civil rights. " Civil Rights-- the rights of citizens to political and social freedom and equality." also understand that everyone cannot totally have it their way or anarchy would be the outcome and society as we know it would be gone.Try to open a business and refuse service to blacks or gays and see what happens to it.

What if a state decides to fire all Dem supporters?
Decided to do some research and found this..from a lawyers.com site of all places.
"Antidiscrimination laws. A few states—such as California and Washington, D.C.—make it illegal for employers to discriminate against employees based on political affiliation or beliefs."
