There’s a difference between a protest and cancel culture.
I’m not sure where the line is but if you’re in entertainment you should probably know your audience. It’s not surprising that people don’t want politics in their entertainment.
A Hall lost his late night TV show because he would not shut up about politics. Nobody called for protests. They just quit watching. That’s kinda where the Dixi Chicks were. They could not shut up about it and it cost them big time. Hell they even wrote a F you song to the fans. That’s just stupid.

Multiple Catholic parishes have been vandalized, too. Especially near the school where the bodies were found.

Trying to figure out a way to discuss this further without attracting the posters who derail threads with their insults and epithets. It's going to be difficult.

A native totem pole was set on fire on Canada’s Vancouver Island in what is suspected to be retaliation for the destruction of a statue of Captain James Cook.

The Salish Bear Pole was seen smouldering at the summit of the Malahat Highway hours after a mob ripped down a statue of the British explorer in the provincial capital of Victoria, took off its head, and “drowned” it in the Inner Harbour.

“Fresh graffiti was also located at the scene, speaking to recent events in Victoria where a statue of James Cook was pulled down and thrown in the Victoria Harbour, based on what was written, we feel the two incidences are related,” the policeman said. The words ‘ONE TOTEM – ONE STATUE’ had been scrawled in front of the burning totem in black spray-paint.

Captain Cook’s statue is not the only monument to have been targeted by woke mobs, with a large, enthroned statue of Queen Victoria being hauled from its pedestal in front of the Manitoba Legislature in broad daylight on Canada Day, or Dominion Day.

IMO opinion the comments were leaked because Taylor is going through a negotiation with ESPN, right now. I believe her contact expires within a month.

I don't think Rachel's a racist person, but her comments are. Saying someone is only getting a job because of diversity is about as racist as it gets in the workplace.

What about when people say someone only got a job because they are white? I’m not really arguing with you. It’s just that you hear that all the time. It should be a two way street.

She is horrendous at her job and is only slightly less annoying to listen to than Beth Mowins. Rachel isn’t wrong but pointing that out is a mortal sin to the self righteous Left.
