Folks you can't have an opinion these days without being cancelled. Another one bites the dust from the Woke company ESPN.
Women, including black women are now in the crossfire of political correctness. Oops, I'm sure that wasn't the original intent. The law of unintended consequences.
The only safe job these days is being a leftist bigot disparaging conservatives.
ESPN anchor Sage Steele is off the air after her comments on vaccines and Obama
Sports anchor Sage Steele is off the air at ESPN after she called vaccine mandates "sick" and "scary" and questioned why former President Barack Obama identifies as Black even though he was raised by his white mother.
Steele made the comments last week on the podcast Uncut with Jay Cutler, and her removal from the air was reported by Front Office Sports.
In a statement, the network said: "At ESPN, we embrace different points of view - dialogue and discussion makes this place great. That said, we expect that those points of view be expressed respectfully, in a manner consistent with our values, and in line with our internal policies. We are having direct conversations with Sage and those conversations will remain private."
ESPN also shared a statement from Steele. "I know my recent comments created controversy for the company, and I apologize," she said. "We are in the midst of an extremely challenging time that impacts all of us, and it's more critical than ever that we communicate constructively and thoughtfully."

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Cancel culture refuses to acknowledge that people can grow, change, and make meaningful amends. At some point, the court of public opinion will have to start working with the concept of a statute of limitations.
Lol bless your heart
I’m guessing everyone here would face similar consequences on the job if they were dumb enough to put everything Gruden said in writing, on an employer’s email server, where it could be subject to discovery in the event of an internal or external investigation.
But sure, Gruden is the victim here.
Gruden is anything but classyI actually believe Gruden would want out after all this stuff came out. The Demaurice Smith comment, which was the context for our interaction, was not going to have him out of football. Far more has been revealed and I can see why a guy who is classy but made mistakes would choose to withdraw.
Of course it was never a problem that Gruden was constantly compared to a psychotic doll…you can comment on some people’s loos but not othersI actually believe Gruden would want out after all this stuff came out. Now Moccasins are Racist! Minnetonka APOLOGIZES for making the traditional shoes for 75 YEARS because it is NOT a Native American-owned business
A Minnesota-based shoe firm has apologized for making moccasins because it is not owned by Native Americans, who pioneered the design of the traditional footwear.
Popular brand Minnetonka issued a statement Monday admitting the company had made money through 'appropriation' of Native American culture over the last 75 years.
'We deeply and meaningfully apologize for having benefited from selling Native-inspired designs without directly honoring Native culture or communities,' the statement read.
Minnetonka, which has been making its popular shoes since 1964, timed the apology to coincide with Indigenous Peoples' Day.
