I’ll keep it on topic… Who gets paid, how do they decide who gets paid, how much do they get paid, who pays and how is it decided who pays ? I find these to all be valid questions.

Lifes not fair. Tough sh!t. PLENTY of people who arent "pale males" have done just fine, especially in an age where there are wall to wall laws to give them every advantage possible. There is an old Cambodian proverb that says "If everyone a$$hole, you might be the a$$hole". Same applies here but replace a$$hole with problem, lazy, racist, etc.

May have asked this question before, but what would reparations resolve?

1) lower the out of wedlock birth rate?
2) keep all the recipients out of poverty?
3) lower the murder rate within the demographic to that of whites? ( if this were possible, I could get behind it)
4) increase the desire and effort to become educated?
5) lower the drug addiction rates?
6) Improve any number of other problems within the community?

What does society gain in return for this, other than massive inflation as the government prints money to fund it?

Found the proper location of your post. They said they were out of Lysol spray. You know dayum well county, city, state, and federal governments take in tax money and distribute unequal sums to communities and this leads to targeted communities to be underfunded. You just want to shovel the usual rightists manure posts. Here's where you need to put it.

If there are a high number of minorities in these cities you speak of where the distribution of funds is taking place you can bet your last dollar it's Democratic run city.

They are voting for their own demise under the guise of being helped. See the Gov of NY if you want to know what Dems really think of black people.

Could be, knowing how humans gonna human, ethnic extraction, political leaning, creed and religious claims not withstanding. However, in the case of fund diversions and other policies to divert funds away from minorities, Repubs lead the pack. Been going on for decades on top of decades. BUT it is not limited to RepubLiars, some of the exposed cases, the Demoncrats are either just as bad or thrice as bad.

I am not scoffing at it at all. I am offering the first step towards real improvement. just like with any problem, it can't be fixed until its admitted & recognized. and the race baiters on both sides of the problem want to keep those who are down from ever recognizing the problem.

The problem will not be fixed. After all I've borne witness to, read, experienced, and certainly seen on this forum, people don't want it fixed. They prefer to crawl into their PREFERRED biased preconceived perceptions, and even outright lies, to positive change. If anything, our march to self-destruction has been going on from time immemorial, and its nearing its final campsite. Another proof is your dragging up Tulsa and the 1920a, whereas I said nothing about either. But you want to drag it into the realm of "You're focusing on the distant past" lie. I'm for an asteroid strike, alien invasion, or Putin carrying out his threat. Get the business over and done with, we don't have sense enough to live in harmony or take care of what was once an extraordinary, beautiful planet.
Paint yourself as holy, faultless, and all good things and "them" as evil incarnate all you want. Yet you ,and yours went into their lands and forked up the culture, environment, displaced the original inhabitants, raped the people and the land, created the hell of dependency and now want claim it's their problem and not yours. All while continuing to enjoy the benefits of your acts and perpetuating them. And denying it all. That's not to say you are the only bad faction of humans because you're not. History testifies of that. Might as well get the whole mess over and done with. We're too stupid to do otherwise.

Reparations wouldn't solve any of the items you listed. But to your last point, I don't see how most of you can play that card when we are $34 trillion in debt and we just sent $90+ billion to overseas wars that only benefit the MIC and Congress, yet not a penny for Average Americans. Reparations and student loan forgiveness would at least be spent here at home. Hell, we can't even get a wall built on the border.
