Exactly. The NCAA preaches that education is important for the athletes, but then allow players to spend one year in college. If you are going to make them go to college instead of straight to the NBA, you need to make them go at least 3 years, but if they really care about education and not just money, they should make it 4 years mandatory in all sports.
It's the NBA rule, not the NCAA's rule.
 
You really think the NCAA didn't have something to do with that? They can make a lot of money off of high profile freshmen.

I'm pretty sure the NBA isn't going to make rules to make the NCAA happy.

The NBA realized that giving 17 year olds millions of dollars was a bad idea and their product was getting crappy. What they have yet to realize is that giving 18 yeard olds millions of dollars is just as bad an idea - and the product is still for the most part, crappy.
