1. Great win for Tennessee. They now have the best resume in the country.
2. That's Scotty Hopson's finest moment. He completely dominated offensively.
3. Tobias Harris showed how valuable he is without scoring. His rebounding and distributing were huge.
4. Cam Tatum was excellent. He found the holes when Pitt tried to concentrate on Hopson.
5. Pitt isn't as good as they were two years ago. That team had two solid NBA guys and this one may not have any.
6. I don't know what Jay Bilas said about Mike Slive, but everyone on press row was getting emails and texts saying he killed him. Kudos, Jay.
7. The difference in this game was Tennessee's perimeter quickness. Pitt had no answer for that.
8. I'm surprised Jamie Dixon didn't try to post Ashton Gibbs up against Melvin Goins and Trae Golden. He couldn't beat them off the dribble, so I thought he might try to go over the top of them.
9. The ballhanding miscues are always going to happen with this team. The difference this year is that the defense is good enough to mask them.
10. On to Moon Township for Robert Morris-Youngstown State. Two games down, two to go on this trip.

Mike Slive has no business suspending Pearl.

"I'm not trying to be harsh.... but that's just stupid" - Bilas

Loved seeing Swiperboy encouraging the fans to get louder during "I said its great, to be, a Tennessee Vol"

Yeah Bilas ripping Slive was great. This is the best UT basketball has looked as a team in a long time i think. A lot more consistent than in the past.

I love the defense, I hate that it got to a 6 point game after a 21 point lead. Just made me nervous til the very end! Great win for sure, this team continues to impress. Hopson really took his game to a new level. Very very fun to watch.

My quick hits:

1) Scotty Hopson played like an All-American today. I think he is showing he has turned the corner.

2) Tobias Harris played well despite the lack of scoring.

3) Trae Golden continues to impress every single game. His D was good today, he's the best distributor on the team, and he just has that "IT" factor about him.

4) Really disappointed in our bigs, but it wasn't easy because...

5) The refs were complete and utter garbage. I'm not someone who usually rags on officiating, but that was atrocious, and clearly, clearly biased. Just horrific.

Any comments on the refs?

They did say that even though this was a neutral sites, the refs definitely had out their road whistles against Tennessee. And they crushed the officials for the non-intentional foul call late when the Pitt player threw BW to the ground.

This. All of this.

We need to learn how to handle the press though.

Bilas on Slive: He's completely out of his jurisdiction. It's the NCAA's rules and the NCAA's call. And he's not concerned with the rules, or he would've handed a penalty when it happened. He just didn't like the way Tennessee handled it.

Best Bilas moment: "Where do we go to give our hundred dollars and pick up our clipboards? Because this has been a clinic by Tennessee."

Also, we're apparently now 5-2 in our last seven against top five teams, dating back to the win over #1 Memphis. Wins over Memphis, Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio State, and Pitt, with losses to Kentucky and Purdue.

I could tell bilas was trying his hardest to not rip the refs like he ripped Slive.

Brian was also slapped by a Pitt player, and no call

One of the most impressive parts of Hopson's game to me is that he doesn't fall in love with 3-pointers even if he makes a couple of early ones. Nice to see that.
