The Dallas Cowboys football circus thread

Here's a weird hypothetical for you:

"I swear, Brady is the luckiest dude in the world*. He plays with angels on his shoulders. His offense turns the ball over 4 times, and his D only surrenders 13 points? Do you know what happens to the Colts if they turn it over 4 times to the Cowboys?"

It's not really hypothetical if it's happened twice, recently:

2006 - Indy turns ball over 4 times and loses to Cowboys. Colts surrender 21 and rush for 88 yards.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Dallas Cowboys - Box Score - November 19, 2006 - ESPN

2010 - Indy turns ball over 4 times and loses to Cowboys. Colts surrender 35 points (in regulation) and rush for 40 yards. This is the matchup that came to mind when I made my "hypothetical" comment.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Indianapolis Colts - Box Score - December 05, 2010 - ESPN

New England tuns ball over 4 times and beats the Cowboys. Patriots surrender 16 (no Mayo) and rush for 101 yards.

Dallas Cowboys vs. New England Patriots - Box Score - October 16, 2011 - ESPN

If your coaching staff has a lick of sense, then I think you've found your starting running back

Agreed. Should have won this one easily today but it was good to see the running game working for once.

Buddy of mine and I went to the game with our wives. I got to witness a record breaking rushing performance. Good times.

Yeah, I feel you. In 2 of my 3 leagues my opponents started Arian Foster and I would have won had he had a normal day.

My fantasy team is horrible. I drafted Jamal Charles and Peyton Manning (1st and 3rd), so I got 4 total quarters from 2 of my top 3 picks.

What's really killing me is I could have had Foster instead of Charles but shied away because of his hammy. And then I was 1 pick away from Forte, but the computer auto-drafted him for somebody else, and I ended up with Gore.

I'm 2-5, but change those 2 and I might be 7-0.

Most NFL teams will just rotate backs anyways. Dallas now has a nice 1-2, hopefully it keeps up. It was definitely hurting the pass game.

It was an all around shellacking which it should have been. Only bummer is miles Austin leaving with a hammy.

Awesome game today. Nice to witness the Cowboys on the giving end of a whoodshed beating against a decent team for once.

Even if he's healthy, Felix Jones shouldn't see the field unless he's giving DeMarco Murray a breather, period

seriously, that's about it

Could be worse, I'm subjected to the Seahawks every week. Every bit of market research I've seen says Portland is a 49'ers market, who I would be fine with because they are good, yet all we get is the Seachickens.

Get NFL Red Zone if you haven't already.

It's been a rough two years as a Vols/Cowboys fan. Very rare to get a victory from one of them in a weekend, this feels nice.

This is the first season that my son is showing any real interest in football. Yesterday we got to share an exciting Vol victory and today we watched the Cowboy game together. Good times.
