The Dallas Cowboys football circus thread

so odds on wade's job security at this point?
He's fine. The team is fairly well re-tooled after last season. This group will get another go next year. Thank god I was busy driving around California and didn't have to watch the slaughtering...

But playing well in December and let alone winning a playoff game is progress I can be okay with. I didn't really buy into the "hottest team in the NFC" hype. I'm expecting to make it to the NFC championship next year, though, unless JJ decides to start anew.

BTW how much does everybody figure the departure of T.O. to Buffalo to be part of the Cowboys turnaround?

It helped because added drama would not have helped this team at all this year.

However, it probably was not as big of a deal as one would think.

How is Ed Werner always the first one to report whatever's happening to the Dallas Cowboys?

Does he have the front office bugged or hide under the desk or something?

Now that the offseason has started, bringin' it back.

Kind of a catch 22 for me... I'd hate for a year with no NFL, but an uncapped 2010 would be a tremendous help for my Cowboys, as we could have a year to "Yankees" our way into the Super Bowl. I truly don't think I'm a homer when it comes to my team, and I believe if JJ spent top dollar for a top 3/5 caliber offensive line, that should be enough to push us to the top of the NFC.

Our Romo who art in Dallas hallowed be thy name. Thy bowl will come, it will be won, in Dallas as it is at home. Give us this Sunday, our weekly win. Give us touchdown passes but do not let others pass against us. Lead us not into frustration, but deliver us to the Super Bowl. For thine, is the MVP, the best of the NFC, and the glory of the team that God loves, now and forever. Amen.

Unfortunately for Dallas, Jerry Jones sold his soul many years ago. So that prayer is probably wasted energy.

Cheering for romo for fantasy football purposes only

As a skins fan who owns Romo on his fantasy team, I need the Skins to score about 4 more TDs so Romo can get some garbage yards and TD while the Skins still win

Shouldn't be too hard as Garrett seem inclined to give you guys TD's as homecoming gifts.

Anybody else think a solid halftime adjustment would be for Dallas to fire Wade Phillips?

Jason Garrett would be a much better head coach imo.

Personally, I am hoping for a tie :)

Oh and when did Romo stop throwing to Witten? I feel stupid drafting him and starting him now. Should have played Zach Miller. He probably only had a couple of points but it's better than Witten's zero.
