The Dallas Cowboys football circus thread

Let's pump the brakes on the Dallas defense. It looks good right now, because the offense is able to stay on the field for a long time with the running game. If their running game starts failing, and the defense has to be on the field longer, they will be exposed.

This. The defensive line can't get to the quarterback. Everyone on defense has played well other than JJ Wilcox and Claiborne (done for the year).

Dallas will go as far as the D will allow them to, keep on waiting for it to break down like years past, if the D holds together who know 10 or 11 wins maybe, get in the party then anything can happen ask ELI.

I know I'm not overreacting as there are still 12 games and a lot can happen in 12 games or 13 weeks as there are 17 weeks in the nfl regular season.
We've seen this movie of cowboys starting great then choking, or getting your hopes up before letting people down as the last 3 seasons they're the great mediocre team 8-8.

One quarter of the way through the season the cowboys have overachieved considering how pathetic in week one they looked.

Look how good your Titians looked week 1, look at them, they might get the number 1 pick in the draft.:eek:lol::

Witten became the third tight end in NFL history to surpass 10,000 receiving yards in the Cowboys' victory over the Texans last Sunday, joining Tony Gonzalez (15,127) and Shannon Sharpe (10,060).

Love to see that. I may be over the 'Boys until Jerruh is gone, but Witten is still my homeboy.

Come on over - the water is fine! I personally think Jerry is realizing in his old age that he might not know as much about football as he thought. With a few more smart roster decisions - this could be a really good team for a while.

Clearly you don't even know your own team. Kudos.

I'm very familiar with our playoff record over the last decade. It's been much better than anyone in the East not named the Giants. I see you are still obsessed with me, so if you want to talk Eagles football, there's a thread for it. Sorry boys fans

I'll just leave this here

Eagles looked strong yesterday, but they've looked pretty suspect for a 5-1 team. They've scored so much on defense and special teams, it's kind of hard to gauge how good they are (cause you can't expect D/ST to keep scoring). The D had surrendered a lot of points, and the offense hadn't scored many...until last night.

It will be interesting to see if they can keep it up.

I said last week that they were the worst 4-1 team I have ever seen. Last night was great to see, but going forward will depend on the oline.
