Interesting article claiming a massive victory. They simply survived a Motion to Dismiss. There has been a claim made regarding the 270k votes and the time it took to validate signatures. The claim is basically that signatures were evaluated upon the registration form alone instead of every signature on file within the voter's registration file. Plaintiff's claim is that the verification process in files with multiple signatures would take much more time to compare multiple signatures and the evaluation was only made with respect to the voting envelope and registration form.

The is no claim that the signature on the registration form and voting envelope didn't match just that multiple signatures should have been evaluated. As far as changing an election... this case ain't it, but Arizona did incorrectly define registration file and it appears as if that mistake is being corrected.

I actually missed this when I replied before and I get where you’re coming from. It makes sense. I just think Trump turned off that group that went 3rd party in 2016 enough to where those norms didn’t hold in 2020, at least not according to the numbers. Trump’s percentage of the vote went up in 4 of 5 swing states while the 3rd party vote went way down and the Dem party percentage went up, generally by a similar percentage to the reduction in 3rd party vote. PA for example: Trump % up 0.26%, Dem party up 2.16%, 3rd party down 2.42%.

Of course none of this matters, it’s just interesting.
