DeSantis will win in the largest landslide since Reagan in 1980. Especially if Biden (more likely Harris) runs as the DNC nominee.
I would pay to see this debate. Well, it wouldn't really be a debate, but a verbal slaughtering of the hyena from California.
What makes you think that? Have the people counting the votes changed?
In four decades of political awareness, three in earnest, I've not seen a person so effortlessly exude inappropriate, less substantial, and less aware behavior than Harris. She's literally a five-nines precision, "WTF"-creating machine.
You have a very romanticized version of an extremely underwhelming term. He's great at marketing and was his own product. Turns out it was just another failed business venture that cost the stockholders more than it madeDisagree entirely; besides being a terrible communicator which left him open to the vilest of propagandist massaging, Trump innately was more right than policy and military experts were on a range of issues. His populist America First message was right, and necessary. He understood fully the bureaucratic state usurpation and the American Marxist revolution that even now, some Repubs don't get as if they're stuck in 1980s Washington. Because he's a coarse bastard who nut-kicks them right back, he probably brought forward into light these subversives a decade ahead of time. They think this is their time and this is a full frontal assault on every American norm. It's not enough to even be a Leftist; one must be an anti-dissent Leftist.
Let perfect be the enemy of good, and when we get Joe, Kamala or Clinton, tell yourself your vote didn't do it.
Again.
I think we'll get Lyndon Johnson speech early in 2024 from Biden. I think they'll nominate Hillary again. And it won't matter. I hope like hell it is DeSantis and not Trump, not because of his policies (thought he did a good job), but the three-ring circus it was. (Don't care who started it or egged it on, etc. It was Trump's responsibility to pivot away from the school-yard antics of his enemies and he just could not do it.)

The premise of your post rests on the belief that whenever Democrats win elections, it's a result of cheating. Unless you can point to a specific election which was rigged, and then provide a link to evidence which proves how it was rigged, then this is just another example of mindless Republican sour grapes. It's become such a tired and lazy narrative.I think the House Dems will get clobbered in the mid-terms because it's a helluva lot harder to rig HoR elections. Senate may flip but barely since Dems control the election boards in the majority of population centers. Same applies to presidential elections, win the big cities in most states and you win the state.
The "Hillary will be nominated again" sentiment coming from the right is just plain stupid wishful thinking.I think we'll get Lyndon Johnson speech early in 2024 from Biden. You have a biased perspective. All of these characteristics you cited could be equally applied to former Vice President Dan Quayle. Quayle spent 4 years bumbling his way through speeches with malaprops, and embarrassing episodes, such as not recognizing Neil Armstrong at a White House dinner in honor of the 20th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing in July of 1989.In four decades of political awareness, three in earnest, I've not seen a person so effortlessly exude inappropriate, less substantial, and less aware behavior than Harris. They will not nominate Hillary. They aren't that stupid.
However, I'm willing to bet the Michelle Obama talk gets serious over the next year or two.

In the book "The Stupidest Things Ever Said by Politicians," by Ross and Kathryn Petras, Dan Quayle literally has his own chapter.
You totally missed the point. You know, those who have their panties in a wad over DeSantis' comments about the unmasking were suspiciously quiet when Biden mandated it on airlines.
Which, by the way, is still in place and "being studied" before they think about dropping it.
So, him "requesting" for those teens to remove their mask isn't quite as bad as the TSA still making up their own rules after the CDC relaxed their stance.
I'm flying today, so, relevant to my interests...
Quayle sounded like a buffoon compared to anyone.
Did DeSantis threaten to kick any kids that didn't remove their masks out of school? You totally missed the point.
Joe Biden isn't the one who has been advocating for "freedom of choice" in the mask debate. Ron DeSantis has been preaching for two years now, that the decision as to whether or not to wear a mask, should be left up to the free will of each individual person. By asking those kids to "Please take them off," DeSantis made it clear that he has been disingenuous with his stated objective concerning masks. Sure, those kids have a choice .... as long as their choice is to not wear one.
I disagree that Harris is any more dense than Quayle. There are two year old cow piles that make more sense than Harris. So assign Quayle to whatever station on the bumbling scale you want, I don't care. But then setup a drilling rig and go about 25,000 ft deeper to find that air-headed Kamala. You'll find the rest of Biden's cabinet between her and Quayle.
DeSantis has been making the issue one of free choice, but that's not really what he wants. He has been disingenuous on the matter. What he wants, is for everyone to be like him... even though a person wearing a mask brings no harm whatsoever, to someone who isn't wearing a mask.Did DeSantis threaten to kick any kids that didn't remove their masks out of school?
