It seems a little petty to gripe about his kick return avg, when he has 0 fumbles on his resume'. As a poster mentioned earlier not many especially in SEC play go long anyway. Its debatle is special teams can win you a game, but we all know from watching years of UT/UF games they can sure as h## cost you a game

He fumbled the other night!!!!!! We got it back, thankfully.

As a sophomore, Gault averaged 27.6 with 3 TDs. After that, teams started trying to neutralize him by kicking it higher and shorter or squibbing it. That said, it is ridiculous to compare Young to Gault. Gault was world class. Not being Willie Gault doesn't make DY and bad kick returner.

My ONLY complaint is that I wish he would take a knee in the end zone. But you don't know what the coaches are telling him, they might have told him to bring it out every time against OU. Maybe they felt like our return team needed the work. Who knows?

In my head this is the only reason the young man is back there, he simply does not turn it over and the coaching staff holds that as a premium.
