The one of the things that hurt McSally in Arizona was the disapproval she got from the McCain family. She has been on thin ice every since.

Bush has stayed out of the politcal arena since the end of his 2nd term, rarely making remarks or offering his .02 regarding current events and the administration in charge. He's got a nice place up in Crawford to maintain.
