Depending on the 2020 election results, you may see a complete split in the Republican party. Its heading in that direction now but judgment day is 11/4.

And again policy wise I don’t have a problem with Trump. He’s done better than I imagined he ever could. He is probably worse as a human being than I thought he was. I just don’t care.

There are legitimate drawbacks to electing a horrible person. Most of the list I saw earlier, inflated as it was, will not last beyond 30 days of the next dem administration. If Biden wins in November, his admin will have XO’s drafted repealing 98% of Trump’s achievements before the transition is even over. The only limit on how fast they go in the record will be how many Biden can sign before his geriatric hands cramp up.

The things that will last will be the assault on norms, checks and balances, and executive accountability. Maybe if the democrats get control of both houses, they will roll that back too. But I expect they’ll make Trumpists out to be hypocrites, instead.

If Congress is going to vacate their legislative duty and be complicit with legislation by XO then they all deserve what they get, both sides. We’re already there anyway it would appear based on the last 12 years.

And I’m not amenable to entertaining any damn horrible person debate based on the tripe that has occupied the office for the last 20+ years and Congress even longer.
