It’s not about how fast you can run to be a lead off man. Would you rather your best hitter getting an extra at bat per game or not? That’s what Tony does with Moore. If you give your best hitter an extra at bat then that’s another chance at a HR. Same concept.

When the runner behind him can't get to the next base because he's loafing is a problem. They hold him up at third all the time when a different runner would be sent. It's a problem.
