The Chiefs lost a 3rd and a 6th round draft pick a few years ago and there was talk of the falcons being punished more severely, potentially losing a 1st rounder

Big price to pay for Kirk Cousins.

I’m very surprised they’re paying big bucks to Kirk Cousins that while he can have great stats, he isn’t some great QB for the playoffs stats.
It would have been not surprising if they gave big dollars to Jimmy G because while he has had the injury issue, he’s an impressive consistent reliable QB that does have a better playoffs resume even with that whole giant disappointment of the Super Bowl loss.

I watched them. Back then, neither the bookstore nor anyone else had jerseys for sale; nobody cared about making them for sale to the public. Simcox let me borrow a jersey (not the type in the photo) and I shipped it to Ebbets Field Flannels where they made a custom one that I gave to my girlfriend (who I later married).

Far more effective than a bauble!

So the Astros fans can be very happy they are in a terrible division so getting to second isn’t a long shot.
It’s still a long shot that they’ll get ahead of the smooth sailing Mariners even though more than 70 regular season games left so an epic collapse is still possible even though it’s very unlikely.
