I vote they retire the fur into the trophy case. (along with the black jerseys)

The fur coat is iconic of Tennessee's rise under Vitello, and should be honored as a time marker for the program. Then let this next phase of baseVols history create its/their own identity.

Homers deserve a Batman cape, anyway.
Then they can wear black to their hearts' content.

The fur coat has been around since ‘22. Both the hat and coat are in terrible condition. They’re kinda like relics at this point. Maybe it will be cool for the new team to develop their own identity?

Remember in 23 they started the Star wars stuff with the light saber, and for some reason they switched back to the fur and daddy hat.

I think because they had unfinished business with the coat and hat. They reached the pinnacle with them and with that championship they should remain. Let the new guys write their own story. Not the Star Wars stuff, it was kinda lame.
