The 2024 White Sox can avoid tying the 1962 Mets for that infamous lowest amount regular season wins record if the abysmal White Sox can win more than 13 games when the 2024 regular season resumes.

It’s the low bar expectation for the White Sox fans that have been stunned seeing the White Sox win a measly 27 games before the 2024 All Star Break.

I read this morning Dodgers are going after Skubal from DETRIOT
.

Also going after, Crochet, Pham and Roberts from WhiteSox.👀👀👀
And this is exactly why there needs to be a salary cap in baseball. Or have a system in place where if you are a luxury tax team, for every additional player you acquire through draft, trade, free agency, or waiver you are forced to forfeit a 1st round pick.

Or maybe the Braves and their cheap ass GM should go out and get the players they need to win a Championship, like every other contender will do. The Orioles are after Skubal as well after acquiring Corbin Burnes this season.

Don't care about losing a first round draft pick, 17 freaking rounds in MLB draft.

Nobody cares about the Luxury tax..

Mets are 1st, Dodgers are 2nd, Yankees are 3rd, Braves are 4th, Astros are 5th in estimated payroll after taxes. Mets and Dodgers combined have nearly $200M over the tax threshold. The rest of the league combined is at that number. Orioles are 28th and $121M away from even reaching the tax threshold. I’m sorry if you don’t see that through your blue colored lenses but it’s a problem that needs to be addressed.
