I stand corrected. Texas never did play there. They played at two different Clark Fields. The second one had a big limestone wall in the outfield.Disch Field was the pre-cursor to Disch-Falk Field where the Longhorns play today, but despite the similar names, these are not the same fields. Disch Field was located right next to the Colorado River whereas today's Disch-Falk Field is located on the grounds of the University of Texas, home to the Texas Longhorns.
I saw where you & the poster huff went back & forth. He's a hard head w/his opinions.Whenever that tweet you posted about Lebron got moved to the kneeling thread all the Lebron blind witnesses started chiming in.
Someone needs to tell them that it’s not that big of a deal. They are both UT as well as many others, that’s how initials work.Sorry, Texas — Tennessee is the real 'UT,' and that's how it will be in the new-look SEC
Texas alums, fans and employees aren’t going to stop calling themselves “UT.” But the Vols and the state of Tennessee aren't playing ball.www.nytimes.com
Get the hell oughtta here with that centered, progressive attitude! We rednecks up in heyengh!Someone needs to tell them that it’s not that big of a deal. They are both UT as well as many others, that’s how initials work.
