9-0. T2, woof. Rookie of the month, Spencer Arrighetti, gets hammered right off the blocks. Held Orioles and Philly scoreless this past road trip.Reds already leading Astros 3-0 bottom 1st.
Edit:5-0 now.
Even a hard ass has pain when hit with a baseball on the sensitive elbow area. There’s no protection on the elbow it’s just bone. I always hated to get kicked in the shin area bc the lack of protection on the bone. I hate to see Harper sitting on the sidelines a day or two. What a (derogatory cat name) he is. I thought he was supposed to be a hard ass???
That’s why you are taught to roll with the pitch and don’t leave your elbows exposed. That’s his fault for not having high enough baseball IQ.Even a hard ass has pain when hit with a baseball on the sensitive elbow area. There’s no protection on the elbow it’s just bone. Well, excuse me. Back in the dark ages when I played baseball my coach would tell me to grab a bat & go hit the ball never saying once to me to be sure & protect that elbow son. That’s why you are taught to roll with the pitch and don’t leave your elbows exposed. You do know his son & daughter picked up where he left off & have their own show on the Animal Planet channel. I've checked in a time or two but it's not the same when you have no Steve Irwin anymore. I remember a show I watched (all of them) where he was out hiking in Arizona desert & the hills looking for big ass rattle snakes & catching those suckers w/his bare hands w/a smile on his face.. Dude had no fear of snakes or spiders like tarantulas & other creepy crawlers. Gives me the willies just thinking of them.Always loved waking up on the weekend and watching his show. I don’t think there has ever been another person that loved animals more than he did. It’s awesome to see his son following in his footsteps.
Yeah I’ve watched their shows a few times but like you said, it’s just not the same without Steve. He was a one of a kind personality. You do know his son & daughter picked up where he left off & have their own show on the Animal Planet channel. I was so sad to hear that day he was struck by that stingray barb while filming under water. They said he knew right away that he was done for knowing what had happened. He lived long enough for them to get Steve back into the boat where he was talking. I've been sad every since his passing.Yeah I’ve watched their shows a few times but like you said, it’s just not the same without Steve. He was a one of a kind personality.
