I understand that some of youns don't like Snitker but as of right now he would be my 4th choice for Manager of the Year in National League.

1. Pat Murphy Milwaukee
2 The Padres Manager
3. Rob Thompson Phillies Manager
4 Snitker

With all the injuries and to have the team in WC contention to me is a better job than having best record in baseball last year. Let the complaining begin.
He had the best power hitting offense of all-time and one of the best offenses period of all-time and could only win 1 playoff game. And then you go into Philly with only 5 games separating them and lose 3 out of 4. So predictable. Yeah, no thanks. We’ve seen all we need to see.

1. Pat Murphy
2. Rob Thompson
3. Torey Lovullo
4. Mike Shildt
5. Carlos Mendoza (nobody really expected the Mets to be in playoff contention)
6. Dave Roberts (tons of injuries like the Braves but has the best record in baseball)

The Reds complete the sweep of the Astros. Three straight sweeps going back to 2019.

In 2019 starters included Verlander and Gerrit Cole, battling for the Cy Young award that Verlander won that year. Occurred in Cincy.

Last year they swept the Astros in Houston.

And this year. Against Verlander and the two hottest rookies from August.

Diamondbacks are up next back in Houston for three.

In the past 70 games, the Astros are 19-51 against the Reds. Three straight sweeps.

Ty France tied a 119 yr old record of an .818 average in a series (9-11). This is the same Ty France who was cut by the Mariners last month

Crazy

Only way Snitker leaves is if he retires. Has one year left on his contract and I believe the Braves will honor it.

The only marquee game I see this week, is the Jags @ the Dolphins.

This will be a "game of cramps" because it's a 1PM game and players and staff aren't very good at knowing how to pregame for not getting cramps.

Also, take a look at the spread on the NFL games. While not necessarily marquee, there is going to be some good football being played in the NFL tonight, Friday night, all day Sunday and I honestly forget who is playing in the MNF game.

PLUS we have SEC football.

AAAND we have GT @ Syracuse which could be pretty good/competitive. GT favored by 3 points.

THEN we can channel flip and see how the Seminoles are going to respond starting out 0-2, which I find either interesting or funny because preseason, I would have thought "the acc isn't that good, but the Seminoles are pretty good" and it turns out, they're just not good."
