The next step will be a super conference, as soon as they can determine what to do with the vandee’s and Northwestern’s of the world, without coming across as money hungry, blood sucking, heartless scumbags, who could give 2 s less about education...

They can’t just be kicked out of the conference unfortunately so I don’t see that happening. It’s just going to end up being a 40 team super conference at some point with only half the teams really in contention. Probably mirror the NFL a bit and have 7 playoff teams from each conference, top team from the SEC and Big Ten get a bye and then have the remaining 12 teams play in the “wildcard round”.
