Outside of us winning, our number 1 priority that is out of our control is to hope for Ohio State blowing out Indiana. The committee would never allow them to be in with that SOS. I don’t care that they would only have 1 loss. At some point you actually have to play and beat a quality opponent.

I would rather them do that then BS us like they are concerned with getting the best in.
Just be honest and say that we want a playoff game in Neyland, or wherever, just like Duke always plays the first 2 rounds of the NCAA tourney, 20 minutes from their campus.😁

We all knew it wasn’t going to be the best 12 teams as soon as they said conference winners get auto bids. I’ll be the first to say that I despise Ohio State but how is it fair to them to be ranked as the 2nd team in the country but drop 3 spots to allow for lesser teams to get the top seeds? The whole format was a disaster from the beginning.

You're still not on that 5 SEC teams getting in theory are you?

It's not happening, the Big 10 will have 4 just like the SEC.

You’re going to see what they really think of Indiana if they lose to Ohio State. They will not make it in because their SOS is in the 100s. They care a big deal about that.

Sankey and the Big Ten Commissioner are the masterminds behind this system. You really believe that they didn't agree that equal amounts of teams from Both Conferences get in?

Draymond Green is a different example.. he is fueled by the hate and embraces the bully role..without al the antics and platform someone pulls him to the side and he listened a long time ago.. instead he's turned it into a platform and his own podcast. Gilbert Arenas.. most people that watch that show don't like or agree with him and his cohorts views... they troll away and cash those hate checks every weeks.

When I was in high school there used to be these groups that came by to make us socially conscious the NAACP the SCLC.. we mostly just went to the stuff to get out of class. I remember one time though in like the 10th grade one of those guys fro the SCLC was giving some speech about some crap I didn't care about but he started telling a story about fights which was interesting to my child mind. he explained how most fights happen not because of the 2 people involved but the crowd around it and the peer pressure. Remember back in school someone would do something fairly pointless and unimportant but it was embarrassing because you're friends and classmates saw it so now you have to push back so you don't look weak. Then the whole standoff happens the ring forms. the huffing and puffing has to turn to action because now its after school and you meet behind the gym. He noted one thing.. 9/10 if you met behind that gym and it was just those two there probably won't be a fight. Don't be the crowd that instigates was the point.

That was established when USC, UCLA, texas and Oklahoma, put for sale signs in their front yards.
The 2 Super conferences will get the benefit of the doubt, whether it’s warranted or not.
Yes, I agree with you, it’s just going to be awkward that it happens to be Indiana this year, rather than Michigan, Penn State or USC.

This initial agreement included all parties but the Big Ten and SEC have been meeting alone ever since then. They don’t like this format one bit and the next one will be more inline with what they really want. The number 1 thing on their list is making Notre Dame a conference member to trim down the bid stealing and increasing how many of their own members get in. In 2026 it will be either a 14 or 16 team playoff so it won’t matter as much. If you aren’t a top 15 program then you really have no shot at winning anyways.
