Don't call me Shirley.

I see no point in protecting or aiding a team like UGA at this point in time. I CAN see a point in aiding other teams like Oregon, Ohio, Tennessee and Texas. 🤠
I thought that would be a good nickname for you (Shirley)
since you do a lot of the cooking & cleaning in your aptment.

You have said so in past posts that you do that a lot.
So, how did that big ole lovely breakfast go you
slaved over today? Anybody leave a good $$ tip for you?
I like your sarcasm, it was just eggs with cheese, bacon, coffee.

$$ tip? No, but if any of them ever see your post, I'm sure one of them will over tip me or to tease me, leave me a penny. : )

Just noticed the Buccaneers remaining schedule, good thing the falcons have the tiebreaker 😑

Tampa’s schedule was heavily front loaded. Had to play Washington, Detroit, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Kansas City, and San Francisco. They deserve the backloaded cakewalk of a schedule imo. Current SOS is .656. The next closest is Arizona at .581.

Cooking is relaxing. I like cleaning, but as you probably know liking something doesn't mean it should be a high priority. IDK why, but mundane things, I kinda like doing, but I also like almost every back yard sport there is, plus some individual sports and team sports.

I'm truly, truly surprised by the cooking and cleaning thing, as were my parents. All I ask is that I don't do it with my dad. We don't work together well for a number of reasons. Long ago I figured out that I really, really like doing almost any manual task with friends whether it's for my parents or their parents and now that we have our own place? Do it for ourselves.

Give 5-10 years and it will probably lose its appeal.

How are you today and what are you up to today?

With it cloudy rainy & windy today in W.TN, I'm staying inside talking w/you.
But I'll need to leave home in a bit to get me some lunch. Getting that time.

Do tell?

What? No buttered toast w/strawberry preserves?
Haha, no. I/we don't care for toast and we rarely have sugar even if it's in the form of preserves. Honey on toast? Yes, jelly or preserves? No, unless it was a gift of some sort. Ideally, if your hobby was making preserves, I'd gladly eat them because you made them for me.

No joke, I don't keep sweets like that or of any type in the apartment because I will eat them in the middle of the night and not remember it. My other roommates have junk food in their rooms for themselves, but I don't want them in our kitchen or pantry because very quickly I'd just be eating Twizzlers for dinner or a quarter pound of M & M's in the middle of the night.

I def like butter and can have that, but I wanted a really simple breakfast.

TBH, imagine how your grand parents ate, that's how I'm trying to eat = no processed foods and if they are processed, then I or we are going to make them fresh. As a group, it's kind of fun to do our version of french fries or chips in our little counter top convection oven.

Ask me a nickel size question and ya get about a dollars worth of answer.

IDK if you're alone for lunch, but I can tell you this, I'm not so sure that I'd prepare my own food if I wasn't preparing it to share with other people. If I had to eat alone today, which I did if I stayed home, I went to the cafeteria, met my roommates and my former dorm floor mates there too. Otherwise, I would skip lunch on a rainy day by myself, which isn't the best for me right now.

I'm alone these days. I'm a widower now. My wife passed away back in April this year.
