Tampa’s schedule was heavily front loaded. Had to play Washington, Detroit, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Kansas City, and San Francisco. They deserve the backloaded cakewalk of a schedule imo. Current SOS is .656. The next closest is Arizona at .581.

Yeah, I know, but that doesn't make me like it any better. Plus, they've hung in there for close losses in many of those despite crazy injuries. If not for those injuries, they'd be on track to take the division.

P.S. you forgot to mention two games against Atlanta among their tough front-loaded schedule....

Is the full team roster available yet for Vols baseball? I'm just curious how the Vols are going to attempt to replace guys like Drew Beam and what the team will look like in February.

The team is notorious for releasing that at the absolute last minute before the season starts.

I do have a real concern for Tennessee and that is the refs in the up coming game. As you know, what refs don't call is a game changer and home teams seem to get a lot of very significant "No calls" for hold and pass interference.

I truly hope Nico's concussion protocol is more of a tactical move than it is a reality that he's injured.

Cooking is relaxing. I like cleaning, but as you probably know liking something doesn't mean it should be a high priority. IDK why, but mundane things, I kinda like doing, but I also like almost every back yard sport there is, plus some individual sports and team sports.

I'm truly, truly surprised by the cooking and cleaning thing, as were my parents. All I ask is that I don't do it with my dad. We don't work together well for a number of reasons. Long ago I figured out that I really, really like doing almost any manual task with friends whether it's for my parents or their parents and now that we have our own place? Do it for ourselves.

Give 5-10 years and it will probably lose its appeal.

Tony’s roster runneth over with numbers and top talent. Ain’t but about half the new guys will make the squad. They will have had that cup of coffee with Vitello or Frank. Looks great on a transfer resume.

I completely agree, but this year, I don't think UGA has what it takes.

2 years ago, UGA had Stetson Bennett and Beck is no Bennett and it's not even close.

ESPN's computer driven model can predict a victory all it wants with it's win probability at 62%, but it doesn't and can't factor in who the QB will be for Tennessee.

A more accurate forecast might be Vegas, which currently indicates UGA by 10.5

I don't understand why the spread is that large. Home teams in the NFL and NCAA football tend to get 2.5 to 3.5 pts for playing at home. In this instance, take out 3.5 from current line and Vegas favors UGA by 7?

Tennessee defense is way beyond anything UGA displayed this entire year so far and I'm quite certain if they had any really great plays left in their play book, they would have used them the last game they played so that they could weather the storm of a Tennessee lost at home.

Being desperate for a win won't magically make the UGA O-line better or give them a running game so they could draw the safeties closer to the line of scrimmage and give UGA WR some breathing room.

I honestly think Tennessee will win fairly comfortably unless the refs are interfering every 3-6 plays all game long.

Four years huh? So sorry to hear that. Mine passed away from the 3 strokes she had a year ago in Sept. She stayed in & out of the Jackson hospital for weeks then.
She was in the hospital all month long in March & I thought she was a goner then.
She was released back to a nursing home facility where she passed on April 10th.

Wizkenet was generally incoherent. Never really explained but was never coherent. Usually short brief interjections. Occasionally he would put together 10 or 15 paragraphs of total gibberish. Hence, WizWall.

ESPN College Football Playoff show:

Doesn't have UGA making it in the top 12
Only has 4 teams from SEC and 4 from the Big 10
Tenn as a 7 with a difficult path to semis

4 is the max either conference was gonna get either way. Only 4 is a misnomer... most had the SEC and big 10 only getting 3 in.

The implosion of the ACC and the weakness of the Big 12 has opened that door.

UGA only misses the top 12 if UT beats them and even then their SoS is high enough that they would be the most likely team to get in with 3 losses. All of their 3 losses would have been to highly-ranked teams and they have 2 wins against highly-ranked teams. In fact in those 2 wins they smacked down Texas and Clemson. The Clemson win was not looking so good early in the season but Clemson has turned it around. Clemson may play for the ACC championship and that Ole Miss playing in Atlanta is highly unlikely but not impossible. GT beating Miami helped UGA a lot assuming they can win that game. Those things happening on their own pushes UGA ranking up. All assuming they either don't get blown out or beat UT. I personally think they lose but not by much. Outside of a complete implosion by them UGA is in the playoffs. I hate Georgia but I personally feel them being left out of the playoffs last year was a bigger snub than FSU being left out.

I said this during the offseason and will reiterate.

Parity is here.. the old power structure of college football is gone and a lot of changes are coming. This first couple of years will be wild and it will eventually settle down again but a lot of powers wont be anymore because of NIL/Portal. Its really hard to come up with NIL funds in a town of under 100k for a number of reasons.

Every game in college football matters now. The results of games played by teams with no hopes of playing for a championship will affect who gets to play. The top25 in the past decades rarely changed much from November to the end a bit of jostling here and there but these days we are seeing massive movement weekly. Think of another year where there were so many upsets of power teams? There are currently only 9 one loss teams left and 3 undefeated. At the very least because of championship games that number of 12 will decrease by half by the time the final polls hit. The majority of teams in the playoffs will have 2 losses. No if, and or but about it.

I'm sorry you had to and are going through that. I hope are at peace with it or are on a path to make peace with it.

My god father/grandfather like person in my life passed two weeks ago and he was almost 90. He and his wife befriended my parents before I was born. I thought I'd make peace with it quickly because I did initially until two weeks ago when I was alone in my kitchen thought, "Oh, I have to remember to ask Pops about that and then it hit me really hard that he's gone and that I need to learn how to deal with it and honestly? It's not going so great sometimes. So I don't know how you do it and I really AM sorry you're going through that.

I'm also sorry for missing this post initially. IDK why that happens to me. It could be my long posts or it could be that I forget to log out of my account and log back in on another machine.
