Your wrong, he will. dont be rooting for us when were their either. It all takes time. Dont be like this VN. hes the best thing thats happened to our school, not just our bball program, in a long time! He will win, just be patient.

I got love and respect for Pearl, but it's time to take the next step...nothing wrong with questioning Pearl, some have gone overboard tonight. If he doesn't do something soon though he could be seeing his way out.

I respect that, i really do. really well put way of saying what youre feeling. But anyone who thinks that Tennessee would hire a better coach than CBP right now is outta their mind. Nobody will take this job that is better than CBP. And anyone who thinks any other coach could take this program to "the other level" is a joke. Please, name the coaches that have been in the Elite 8 (or whatever you want) the last 5 years.

Summary-

1- There isnt another coach that would take this program that is better than Pearl

2- CBP is a top 10 coach. If you guys push him out, you can kiss the 4 and 5 stars goodbye that you need to compete with the schedule we have.

3- There isnt another coach that could swoon our fanbase and win like Pearl

4- Name the coach you want! Name him. The top 5 coaches you want arent gonna come here! would you honestly take Butlers coach, or WKU's coach, or Dukes assistant over CBP? if you would, dont be a fan, cus your wrong and a joke! Ok, first off...you can't say with 100% certainty that we couldn't get a "better" coach than Pearl, money talks, we got plenty of that.

Secondly, he has got 1 big time recruit( Scotty )and thus far he has handcuffed him with his system. A lot of our future success in recruiting depends on how Scotty and Tobias play and develop. If they come in highly touted and then fade into oblivion, they will quit coming. That is why all the best prospects want to play for Cal, he puts them in the best position to succeed and play in the NBA.

Yeah - some people can build programs fast (like Pearl - and quickly reach their max) - while other styles of play require time. KO's style certainly needed more time than he was given... and he didn't inherit Jajuan Smith, CJ Watson, and Chris Lofton.

Once we do not make the NCAA tournament, I will ask for Bruce to be pushed out. As long as he is getting in, getting 4-5 stars, and it is fun to watch (when it is good) I am all for Pearl, and our 15-25 range program. Tennessee is a football school, that is starting to transition into a serious contender in basketball. No other coach would have gotten us this far, why can't we give him a chance to prove himself, and not push him out until he starts to drop the program. (aka miss the tourny, cheat, etc.) Not lose a few games in the regular season....

Also let it be know, I would be fine if we got an upgrade in coaches, and pearl found a solid job to fall back to. I would love that, if it worked for both parties. But I hate that Pearl is getting pushed out, because he is a good guy, who truly loves being here. He isn't a Calipari that chases money, or the best job possible. I say give him a chance, and if not, I hope the best of luck to him and we'd better hire a sure thing...

Let's see how the Vols bounce back. Maybe enough negativity towards Pearl will make him realize that he's not the Jesus of basketball and needs to check his self and his coaching abilities. I don't think he needs to be fired though. He does need to look at his methods and adjust accordingly
