The eternal QB debate (merged)

4. The most knocked down balls at line of scrimmage. Has to be a NCAA record.

I AGREE! I have never seen so many that I can remember.

Here is my question. CLK has said that he will have his QB's back no matter what. I have been a true Crompton supporter till this point. That being said why is CLK letting JC stay the QB when he knows that the whole Vol nation is asking for a change and JC will be the one that ultimately will pay for the decisions of his head coach. This is my only question I have had about our new head coach but I would like to hear your alls opinion.

Kiffin also told the media in conference before the season that he vowed never to change QBs in the middle of a game this season.

So far looks like he's keeping his word

He looked almost worse tonight. He always threw to the same direction, and same place. He did not have to have a receiver there to do it. He is lucky there were not more picks. Hardesty cannot carry the team and next week will be for real. They are winning big tonight and have three quarterbacks. Their third string just completed a 50+ yard play that he ran it in for a TD....Stephens needs some snaps.....Auburn may take out Crompton with their defense....He is too slow.

I think we are fixing to see QB change. i bet we will see Stevens at some point in next game unless Crompton comes out on fire. I guess we'll see!!!! Go Vols!!!!

There is no way Crompton is better than Stephens. I don't care what Kiffin says. At this point, he can't hide it. Sure, Ginger had the bad game against Wyoming, but that was the week Fulmer was fired, anyone would've sucked. Against UGA and Bama last year, Stephens threw 3 TDs and 0 INTs. Enough is enough...

I feel bad knocking a fellow human being so badly but he isn't. A real fan would request to sit on the bench or leave the team. He isn't doing any good for the team. This really does sound horrible but it's true. He is being selfish by putting himself on the field.

Watching him play makes me want to vomit. I've given him the benefit of the doubt over and over again but this is too much. He is single handedly keeping Ohio in the game.
If that is the case, could you request to leave Volnation for the good of the board. It sounds like quitting is a part of your life. Start by leaving here.

This is a stupid thread. That is all...

 thank you

Here is how you know Crompton sucks.....when on the busted play in the first half and the entire line and running back went left and Crompton goes right. He looked lost trying to figure out where everybody went. The boy calling the play doesn't even know what direction the play is going. Time for a change!

CLK has the advantage of seeing practice too
So he can make the best decision

did you see how many int's were dropped vs UGA? We have zero qb options at UT

I agree, I think that Jim Bob Cooter would look like Tom Brady in comparison to J Crompton. There is no way Stevens is worse, NO WAY. Maybe Stevens looks worse in practice but thats practice, put him in a game and just see how he does. I really think that we are holding him out to get QB recruits. That is the only explination for this BS.

LMAO :eek:lol:

I'm not sure if Nick Stephens is any better but he can't be any worse than Crompton.
I think its time to give Nick a shot. Obviously JC is not gonna get it anytime soon. His little fumble play on the sideline was awful.
