Damn choad jugglers in my league vetoed my trade. I traded Moncrief for Eddie Lacy. They only care about where a guy was drafted and totally ignore a guy's on field production. I thought it was a fair trade.

Lacy has been losing carries the past few weeks . If I owned him I would trade him fast . He might lose a lot of value soon

Vetoing a trade is weak IMO, unless its obvious someone is trying to stack a team.

Lol I retract my statement. To clarify though, I was in a league last year and it was obvious one guy had 2 teams, and started making ridiculous trades to try and stack one team.

It was a bad trade for whoever was giving up moncrief but yea it was fair . Nothing malicious about . I could understand why someone makes that trade both ways

Honestly it came down to this to me

Would I reather have

RB 2 gurley
WR 3 Mike Wallace

Or

RB 2 CJ
WR 3 Snead


I picked the later

Gurley is a RB 1 and CJ is a flex play with rb2 upside. It was a bad trade.

And Snead isnt much better than Mike Wallace, which was his selling point.

Imo it wasn't . And CJ is better then flex . He is a low upside high downside rb2

If he has a bad game or a fumble he could possibly lose his job back to Ellington though.

The last sentence is the key. For example if you have 3 really good WRs, but you need a RB you might be more willing to reach a little to balance your overall team.

Truthfully 80% of the halfbacks in the league are this way now .

Also in that trade I got a total crapshoot of a starter in Starks . If the season goes like it's going he could get most of the carries

I was the one giving up Moncrief, but I'm the reason it got vetoed. I'm 5-1 and the other guy is 2-4. I've got a plethora of WRs and everyone is offering me RBs for them (and I need a RB), but no one wants to give market value.

That's a big "if" considering he's been there this entire time and has never come close to splitting carries with Lacy until now

That's about as fair as it gets. I'd still take Lacy over Moncrief, and apparently others wouldn't. I'm like Jerry though, I hate vetoing trades in general.

Reverse happened to me . I have plenty of hbs but only two consistent wrs in maclin and Jeffery but I'm 3-3 and no reason to keep my team the way it is if it will not win me more then half of my games
